I just can't understand why anyone in the right mind would tie a lowering rope around themselves hopefully they learnt from there mistakes and maybe investing in a friction device will save them a few broken bones or worse. That said I must admit I had a cheeky smile on my face

Don't think the groundy was a real person, more like a manican judging by the way a quite small branch flicked it to the side right at the end of the slomo clip.

Imo - setup

If not very nasty and shows why it should be left to those who have had training!

I don't think they were lowering, I think they intended to fell the piece towards the camera, its a pull line.

 

Not sure I'd call them "professionals".
