Used em for about 10 yrs or so and I think the guy that had them has only just got shot of em so they ran for 20 ish yrs

They were pretty reliable and robust apart from the leaf springs went regularly, as someone mentioned dan equip used to import them untill they copied them and called em blue chip

They were grey so that ones had a respray .

I would pay not over £1500 but then I guess it's down to how much you need or want it ... They are not bad chippers used them at numerous times over the years the last one around 7 years ago as a main machine before I got a gravely and it felt an out dated and abused machine back then a far cry from the ones I used in the 90's.. Still a bread and butter machine at the end of the day and I would prefer one over a vermeer 625 for sure which off the top of my head is all I can compare it with, tw150 is on a different level ...Lister petter are pretty bomb proof though.

Don't bother to bid! The safety bar is so wrong! As is the infeed! It doesn't comply with H&SE regs.....

There was a retro fit kit for this consisting of a bottom bar in a slider preloaded with a gas strut which was supposed to meet the standard.

I agree £2k is too expensive for obsolete kit, especially petrol engined.
