Sorry Beau, it does indeed look finished, I looked at it a second time and realised but I had posted by then!

How many hours do you reckon it took you to do that?

Not looking forward to adding up the hours as I suspect it has taken far longer than it should have. Will post how long in due course.

I made some stuff in college with that whilst doing my HND in Furniture design and construction. The work included cutting a set of dovetails by hand and it was horrendous stuff to work with . Crumbled like an oxo cube if you went near it. I think most of my course chucked their pieces in the skip when they had been marked. I haven't touched it since and don't intend to do so. Even if I had a client who insisted upon me using it, I would refuse the commission!

Each to their own. Tulip wood may have it's faults but ease of working is not one of them IMO.
