  1. It wasn't too bad. Everything but everything was covered in a green/yellow dust.
  2. I'll try later, thank you.
  3. Thanks Steve. It's been a while since I've been on here, can I put a vid up? I've never seen pollen like it.
  4. Hope this is the right place to post. Pic of a blue atlas cedar take down today. Pollen!!!!
  5. I'm sure most tree officers have got better things to do!! its all your fault then!!??
  6. Why does my chipper always find them??

  11. Sorry for late reply!!! stick still standing. Only go for a couple of days a month and always something more pressing to get on with other than drop it!! will try and count rings at stump level..... one day!!
  12. £3,000. You can keep the logs to. ?
  13. It's in Northamptonshire. Unfortunately in a large private estate. Whatever my ideas, thoughts about lots of amazing timber they have, it's theirs. Mostly reduced to firewood. If I get one which I get to keep, I'll try and keep you posted. Some customers these days don't want hard wood logs. Not many!!
  14. I wish it could be. It was hard enough getting pickup and chipper in. Mobile saw mill might struggle and access to remove a lump is impossible. Sad but logs it is.
  15. Don't know if right place to post but a few pics of a take down done by us last month. h
  16. hi just wondered how much the trailer could hold, legally does it tip to the side? is log splitter included in price? how old is the trailer/crane? thanks. looks a useful bit of kit.

    My accident

Having not logged on for a while, your post on the 6th of May blew me away Sean. As someone already said tears of mixed emotions. Glad you sneaked out into the woods!! Keep strong for the daily battles and enjoy each little victory. Truly an inspiration. Love and best wishes to you and your family.
  20. sure some off those must be set up but some are defiantly not, poor bu**ers. Darwin awards spring to mind. never like seeing people hurt themselves though. we all make mistakes as well. some we get away with some we don't. chainsaws and ladders and an inexperienced user......
  21. ouch getting a tree surgeon in might of helped to.
