Devon and Cornwall - if you can regularly achieve £200 per man day inc. chipper you are doing OK.

 

Too many out there underpricing work and ending up with take home minimum wage, unfortunately many have to price against them. Of course for some, it is not about the money.

 

Others will disagree but few can sustain above this long term.

 

Bargain I agree compared with what many garages charge to 'fit' car parts.

Second that. £390 for 2 men and chipper, £450 for 3 men so boss takes hit on that. I know of a gang in PLY who were doing 4 man days for under £300. :001_rolleyes: Glad to be well out of arb work, with the exception of looking after long-term customers.

£360 ish a day this way for two man team and chipper, £500+ for three man team.

that's down here in the new forest, some wont more, some work for less.

prefer to price the job on its on merit rather than work for day rates.
