Father's Day

Have had cards from all my kids today, very proud dad. One is 20, 17 and 4 years old. And I have a new arrival due in September!! Love being a Father. And god bless my dad you are never out my thoughts! Big up for all the Arb Talk Dads!!

I got halfway through the day and the wife says 'so what are you doing this afternoon?' And I reply: 'Well as it's Father's Day I'll be taking it easy for once!' 'Oh, I'd forgotten.' All was quiet while I put my feet up in the garden and read the paper. About an hour later two beautiful hand-made Father's Day cards appeared in my lap and then I was led to the front door step and shown, 'Happy Father's Day - to the best Dad in the world'! from my two lovely girls- wow!

Just been to toby carvery for there all you can eat breakfast (revolting breakfast 😩) then spend the day at home with my 4 month little lad happy days!!

I had the cards and texts but Friday my son called in to visit. I don't see him very often so I threw a rope up a tree and started him off climbing. Little thing I know but it was a special moment for me

It's a sad day for me. I lost my dad when I was a young man.
