1. I have to agree with everyone on this forum because they all have a valid point of view. When I was in the Navy my step-father voted (Conservative) by proxy for me which when I left the Navy changed to Labour for me and I've since changed my mind again by not voting at all this last election. So maybe read Nick Davies, 'Flat Earth News' about all the made-up news in all our Newspapers. And maybe try 'Hedgemony or Survival' Noam Chomsky about the Western governments manufacturing consent for our foreign wars by scaring people into believing we are so much under attack by terrorists that we need to go to war(just what the terrorists want)! Or: 'O lord grant me the courage to change the things that I can change, grant me the grace to accept the things I can't change and grant me the wisdom to tell the two apart'. Everybody has a vested interest in Money/power which is after all what politics is all about control in the oil in the middle-east. Now I'm off out into our lovely(Cornish) countryside for a walk and to enjoy some rare summer sunshine.
2. Hi guys, who can tell me if it is possible to top pine trees - that is, will they recover? Or do i need to suggest a full dismantle? A customer wants a quote for reducing a 40 foot high lleylandi hedge by 10 feet that includes 6 x pine trees. I Have sided pines up before but never topped.
3. Yeh it's those precious moments that makes all the hard work of raising them worthwhile!
4. I got halfway through the day and the wife says 'so what are you doing this afternoon?' And I reply: 'Well as it's Father's Day I'll be taking it easy for once!' 'Oh, I'd forgotten.' All was quiet while I put my feet up in the garden and read the paper. About an hour later two beautiful hand-made Father's Day cards appeared in my lap and then I was led to the front door step and shown, 'Happy Father's Day - to the best Dad in the world'! from my two lovely girls- wow!
5. Jealous! Do you get a free supply if you're a visiter?!
6. Fantastic region! We're booked into a house near Cognac this August and can't wait....
7. ...Oh and I forgotten how young those newbie tree guys are lol!
8. Dryad, here's my pickup....Also full leather interior and blessed air con!!! You remember that heat wave last year? The guys beaten to the spare seats in my truck were left stood outside melting!!!
9.
u can email me and I send the truck pics: [email protected]

11. Maybe should have gone on that other thread!?
12. Here's my arb truck which is not for sale just yet! Post me if you like it.
13. Ford Ranger does have an intercooler - apparently but it doesn't seem like the blanked off bonnet scoop has anything to do with it.
14. The bonnet scoop is redundant but it does look good.
15. I should have added that it has just been serviced and Mot'd!
16. Here are some pics of my arb truck which will be on sale soon due to my getting hired by a big arb company. Optional extras include a chipbox and (Low hours) Timberwolf serviced and in great condition! An ideal package for a new business or an established one:001_smile:
17. Hi Tucky My Ford Ranger Doublecab has a chipbox and winch. It'll be for sale in autumn if you can wait? It also has a lockable toolbox. Been ideal for all my arborist needs. It'll be selling for around £3300. Post me if interested.
18. Stick with the 4x4 or use your team to push the transit out like I do!
19. As other have said. And if you do get a Load-Handler, as I did, for your truck just remember that for maximum effectiveness you need a flat bed on which to chip. My 4x4 back is ridged thus reducing the effectiveness (about 80%) of the Load-Handler so I still need to use a shovel as well. Good luck and have fun experimenting with different methods!
20. Yeh, I bet Salmon do get top billing over the Pike, but its the fun of the game that keeps me coming back with sea fishing. Although that said last time i went kayak fishing off Sennen while my line was in the water I was watching some female rock climbing which was equally fun...!
21. That's more like it! Conger eel are similarly regarded down this way. You either love em or hate em because they're too bony!
22. Yeh, I heard you have to put them back. I don't think I could do that with what I catch - Bass, Pollack, mackeral. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. I agree fishing with someone else is more fun but it's difficult finding another kayak fishing bod and nothing is going to stop me getting out there!
