I'd agree with all the above posts but would add that you can only charge what the market will bear.

 

 

As an employer, I'd say that £30 is a good day rate!

Hahaha!

Thanks for the replies and feed back guys, a lot of companies around my way seem to be stuck in the past money wise!

 

If they can get the people they need for the rates they are paying why would they want to pay more?

 

You would need to be increasing the productivity and profit for it to be in their interests to pay you more.

For £200 a day I provide my own bacon and Brie sarnies with Jaffa cakes to go with my thermos of espresso. That would be nice if I actually did have that but I would never have time to eat them.:pepsi:
