In a statement, the police said: "While we are pleased that two tractors have been recovered and that arrests have been made, we do not want anyone to put themselves at risk of harm."

 

I knew that statement was going to be there before I started reading the article. I have been in a similar situation myself, we had some saws stolen, I found out where they were and told the police, they could not act because I could not provide evidence, I couldn't tell them who told me for obvious reasons so that was that.

 

To be honest the police are pretty useless in these situations and I speak from vast experience.

Same happened to me! The police are in favour of the criminal and there well being these days
