First paid job for "Bob". Cherry tree stump 18 inch diameter, dug out today and then moved to its resting place. For those eagle eyed ones out there, yes the thumb is not used in this pic. I had been using it to pick up the stump, but could not get it off the ground, so I used the narrow bucket to break up the stump a bit to make it lighter. When it happened almost by chance to end up sitting on the dozer blade I decided to move it quickly before it changed its mind!

By chance the stump grinder conversion arrives tomorrow. 20hp Honda petrol engine mounted above cutting wheel, to fit onto digger arm. Pics to follow soon of this.

Very interested in stump grinder.

I love my e10, just loaded it into the tipper with the grapple on ready for a day of bramble pulling tomorrow, will try to remember to take pics.

I highly recommend a ripper tooth for them.

Yes, I can see the sense in a ripper. The 9 inch bucket was good today but a ripper would have had the edge, no pun intended,

My little Bobcat had a bit of a workout the other day - it’s amazing how productive a bloke with a saw and a digger can be when fire is introduced into the mix!!!56A22F2B-12E9-4020-B160-C1B47DCC4FD1.thumb.jpeg.32c93fa7f4caa9e6b870626c24bd13ce.jpeg

Is that the one RSL engineering do with the Serated blade on the back- often thought it looked like a good idea for ripping through the larger roots that the tooth would t break on it’s own

But of neglected shrub bashing yesterday to help stop this cut through being used as a rubbish dump, no way was I touching anything by hand so flail, rake and grab did the lot from the comfort of the cab.

No, but I am thinking if getting that just for roots, and keeping the exisiting one for ripping up concrete etc

I have one, its great. Works just as advertised,  nice and strong,  lasting well. I wouldn't want to  be without it.
