Weather forecasting is an obsession for Norwegians.

I had sat and compared forecasts that are real time with the BBC and yr. YR, as I stated is probably the most accurate.

I used accuweather for a long time but it seemed to just go downhill. I'd check the forecast and they couldn't even get the real time weather correct let alone future forecasts.

Hear a lot of talk about windguru, never tried it though.

I use Windguru for forecasts when i go sailing

WindGURU: bristol

Gives a rolling 5 day forecast in 3 hour segments showing

wind speed

wind gusts

wind direction

temp

cloud cover %

Rain expectation

(as well as wave height and wave direction)

The site uses colour coding so you can see at a glance what sort of day it will be.

Not sure how far inland it covers (although it does have a forecast for Glastonbury)

weather school the most accurate i have found 99% correct run by Simon kelling who is a meteorologist so does his own forecasts not taken from the met or bbc. work my week from his forecasts and so far been spot on as for others forget it met office waste of space. wish he come on this site and do one of his vids like on BFF so informative

I use Yr & BBC too, YR often accurate, specially giving times of day rain due to fall in area we are working etc and amount, plus wind etc.
