Cold callers

They are only doing a job and everyone has a right to work. As a salesman, I cold call people, both on the phone and in person when I can. It can be good fun, productive and interesting.

 

But I can appreciate it can be a nuisance, an warranted intrusion that is annoying. But that is part of our job.

 

Personally, I wish them a good day and politely so no thanks.

Invasion of privacy? Nuisance calls? Etc...

Its annoying but at least they are working and trying to earn a crust rather than taking a handout off the bloody social that seems to be all too easy to ride that gravy train!

 

I wont lie and say i havnt got arsey with them from time to time but feel like a dick after i have hung up the phone.

The person on the phone does not always dial the number, often your number is dialled by computer, if you answer your put through to an operator.

 

As has been said, they are only doing a job, why be nasty or rude?? Just hang up.
