365 Replacement

Hello!

Well, my 365 has finally died, had it since 1999 and its been my main saw, fitted with a 18'' bar, there wasn't much it couldn't do, albeit a touch on the heavy side.

Problem now is what to replace it with?

Tried the 372XP X-Torq for a few days, ok, but thinking its time I got something a bit lighter (getting older), so I tried the 550XP, ok, but noticed the lack of power, so I thought the 560XP would be the ideal compromise, until I started reading all the 'very worrying' posts on here...............I suppose I must have been lucky (or maybe I just look after them), but I'm not used to saw's letting me down.

So, I'm in a dilemma, need to sort something out tomorrow.

Would prefer to stay with Husqvarna only because that's what I'm used to (plus I've got a load of 18'' 3/8 chains with loads of life in them).

Any advice much appreciated.

Dawsie

Go for the 560, I have had a few problems with mine but all sorted quickly under warranty but mate's have had them and the worst problem has been a blunt chain. Best saw I've had in last 15 year, would get another tomorrow if I needed it.

560 is THE best small saw ever made. Get one, it's lighter than a 365 (I've had 2) and it cuts much faster.

365 is a fantastic saw, I had my first one 11 years but the 560 out performs it massively. Just set it up right, as per the hand book and you'll be reet

Couldn't be more pleased with my 560xpg. I'll be glad of those heated handles soon!

It's a very fast saw, it almost feels weird how quick it cuts while still being light and nimble. Mine is also on an 18", but .325.

Conversion to 3/8 is a sprocket swap, and I'm sure there are plenty on here to tell you how.

Your dealer could probably set it up for you.

Early days for me TBH, but as Maverick said to Charlie 'Its looking good so far!'.
