From what I've seen it goes a more light brown colour with a very faint hue of pink. Jo who I milled it for was kind enough to let me have a couple of boards which have gone in my VIP timber stack :x

Tis the season to be milling. Milling some Sweet Chestnut and Oak. Had a nice two days in the sunshine. Hoping to have three days next week. Will need to work off all the Christmas grub.

some great pictures on this thread of recent produce, here some of ours again taking the woodmizer to the max and Olive Ash appearing again! with a trailer load of more to mill in the future, any takers?  all the best to you all for the festive season and milling new year:001_smile:

i was going to offer you something for that if it didn't sell. looks a nice bit of wood and we don't get too much elm down this way.
