The cjheapest chain oil I've found is Go Part approx £1.35 - £1.40 plus VAT but it is cheapest in 5l containers for some reason (seems bonkers!). If anyone can tell me where to buy it cheap (approx £1/litre is what I'm aiming for) in 205l drums (or even an IBC) I'd be interested to hear.

210L every time. The saving is huge and less hassle. Normally lasts us around 6 months

Where do you get your oil?

Do you get it delivered?

The only problem I`ve found if its a metal drum you get condensation inside especially with weather like it is at the moment (very cold then warm), the oil is a little milky when you come to the end of the drum.

20l drums of pure rapeseed from a cash and carry, £1 a litre no vat......

Guess it's ok to use this oil then? In older out of warranty saws.

I buy 45 gallon barrels for work, and i have worked it out to be around half price of buying 25ltr ones.

We get the barrels delivered from millers oils.

Definatley worth it if you use a fair bit of oil.

2X 210 at a time from plantoil and we use Bio

more than anything no hassle with disposing of the drums as had to prove where we had disposed of the 25l ones as we abide by the rules:confused1:
