Hitch Hiker thread.

Recommended Posts

So I've been on the HH now for several weeks and I really can't fault it, I'm using the standard Recommended Half VT we beeline hitch cord on Yale kernmaster I've used it in the dry and the wet and its still as responsive, I will say though obviously being steel if it does get wet get it dry ASAP, really pleased with how it works the tree.

Could they improve on a mk2 version??? I'm not entirely sure?? don't think I'd want to change anything!! What are your thoughts guys?

The big question is, do you prefer it over the rope wrench?

If I'm honest.......

Yes I do mate, for several reasons already stated in previous posts, the main think I like most of all is having a system that's exactly the same length as a hitch climber and hitch setup without anything above it!!

Don't get me wrong I still love and have been using the wrench but my first choice is defiantly the HH :)

spent the whole day going up and down 25- 30 meter trees taking out hangers from a recent storm, frog walk up and the setup my rope guide . all i could think of was how much faster it would be if i had a wrench or hitch hiker ......... decided for the hh:thumbup1:

I've only used the zk1 and that's one thing I don't like with it, the way the wrench is above the hitch. Seems somehow untidy to me. I did like the look of the zk2 at the arbshow but would rather have a go on one before buying.
