How much does a fitted ally body cost looking into it ?. What extra do you need to run a 6t iveco ?. Thx

i no my mate just bought a landy 130 he had a brand new ali planked box on the back its 8ft by 6ft approx and that cost him £3500 ladder rack barn doors etc

Our new Iveco 5.5t 4x4 I was told came to around the 55k area which had the tipper body with tool box, shelving, winch and a £2000 ladder rack, I think the chassis cab was around 42-44k mark and we weighed it and it came to 3.8t with kit and two men so we can have about 1.7t on it.

Wow that's not a lot of payload for what it is tho it's the nuts, but WOW 50k and 3500 for the ally box it's expensive I guess for 2-300kg weight saving.

 

I think they should do a 2.5 ton payload but on a normal licence and let people tow up to 1ton would make business run so much easier.

 

We're strangled by 3.5 ton and 750kg putting everyone through the tests is expensive and they can just leave the company.

You guys dont get the kia trucks?

 

Ignore the 1000kgs they state, its actually 1500 they carry on there backs and still stay 250kgs under 3500kgs.

A Unimog would be better then and a two year old one could be the same money.
