Yeah it’s handy, but don’t forget he gets that firewood, buckshee, a few miles from his yard.

We both do ok, but we both think that the other one gets the better end of the deal.
Which I suppose means that it’s fair!

Sounds like perfect equilibrium (or tension)

I'm surprised that you don't have to hand your phone over for safe keeping when you sign in, you certainly have to on Mildenhall and Lakenheath. These are both USA bases though, perhaps things are different.
We aren't seeing anything that can't be seen from public roads or even Google earth. Would be different if we were working inside some of the buildings and taking pictures of the munition stores or armaries.
The us bases are definitely stricter like when we did a job on menworth Hill even our kit bags were checked over.

I'm with you Jon, the first time I worked on Lakenheath it took 3 hours to get clearance. They emptied two vans to search everything, strange environment when everyone you see is openly carrying a gun.

Interesting job Dempsey, wot was the intent of works ? Nice sticks BTW.  Millable ? K

Not millable, hornbeam for the most part. The owner is knocking down the hut and building a big house on the lake.

Small clearfell going for whole tree chip - the weather broke just as we finished a couple of weeks ago so we’ve had to lead the chip out today in ADTs instead of the lorries that we’re planned..

The Albach fills them in 4 1/2 mins...
