Cheers, wouldn't say I hate it, strongly dislike the pain in my knees from being on ladders for 3 days but like looking back when its finished at a good Job.

Planted in 1904.....

Its taken me about 5 years to get back neater lines and undercut the toppers back on into almost balls instead of shapeless lump's.

Just over 1000kg of clippings collected and off to produce a cancer drug.

Don't usually post pics but thought I'd start, Eucalyptus dismantle today sectioned down to 7ft as the customer wanted it for a feature! Timber blocked and thankfully left on site.

Been on this for a few days 220 year old oak with Inonotus dryadeus .. Lots of rigging with phone wires roofs and soft Tarmac on site !

Effective rigging. Always pays to have a tug line for extra control.Great use of straw bails at the end.

I didn't take it down low enough to find any evidence of it David as they wanted the stump left high and at an angle for a house sign.... The crown was significantly dieing back though.

I haven't felled too many oaks , mostly pine and birch.
