Was a PITA.  At least the first 10 metres was.

Branches as thick as your arm growing down over the trunk before growing outward.

It was like cutting from beneath a very wooden curtain.

had worse though.

Doddle. My arms are like pipe cleaners.

Worth throwlining above it or just grit your teeth, clench your back and and flip?

A mixed bag to end week before heading over to Kent to do some training.
Two reasonable sized Blue Atlas Cedars and a Small Leaved Lime to remove, a large lapsed Lime pollard to knock back to restart the cycle.

Two small Ornamental Cherry Trees shading out the solar panel.
All material suitable for firewood was cut and stacked in-situ, all branches chipped and left for future use as wood mulch.
The property is going through extensive renovations, including a complete refurb of the patio and pool area. IMG_5623.thumb.jpeg.d66c3cf2439b62521af9ac74f4a89a06.jpeg
Final tree, just a stunning old Sweetchestnut I drive by a few times a week.

Should have said a grown man’s arms and not the noodles you’re carrying 🤪

The latter.  If I had throw lined it I would still have had to climb through the curtains or I would have been a metre away from the stem.
