Had a couple of days clearing a stretch of a small river, a tributary of the River Tweed which is having its course altered as part of flood works.

They've dug a new meandering channel and created a flood plane but before breaking the dam the fish are being removed by electro fishing, to allow this we had to clear everything in the river. Once the dam is broken the original course will be filled in so we also had to clear 1 bank and crown raise the other bank a minimum 2m to give the diggers access. All arisings left on bank so no chipping, just 3 guys with saws.

I can but no room to maneuver as its all graves or flag stones there is a very narrow strip of grass I can get on and track backwards and forwards with small ish pieces to get stem out but it's not a nice sight to use any machines luckily the vermeer is under 36 inches so it fits
