This tree split into 2 very large co-doms at about 40-50 ft, which can be a nightmare in these Redwoods. One of the co-doms had a hard head lean towards some structures so we were worried that when we were falling it the tree wouldn't act as a single tree, but that each side would peel away and go where they wanted... I ended up climbing it and limbing the side we were most worried about. I then put a very high tagline around both co-doms and we gentle pull them together. On my way down I strapped both sides together 2-3 times. The plan worked very well and the tree fully cooperated with us....

It wasn't a bad tree to do but I did have to keep the pressure on to get it done and a couple of little prunes we were leaving sight for just after 5pm

Not really making video's these days. I have never enjoyed the video making process, and gawd knows the world doesn't need another wannabe YouTube ArbStar. We will leave that to folks much more qualified than myself.

I do the odd vid. Just for family and friends. Wouldn’t DREAM of putting it on here though, my delicate emotions wouldn’t stand it
