Opportunity to get the council's latest toy out for a play today. Pine weighted back over the fence and neighbouring houses. Took the lower limbs off then pulled it over with the Terex. Cleaned up and ringed up by 1pm.

This mornings task. I had condemned this willow July 2012 and its now finally down. I'd been struggling to get it sorted for the last couple of months but it still took near enough a year for the customer to come round

 

Stuck a pulling line in with my hook on a pole. Through a pulley and to the truck. Came over a dream. Filled one truck with logs and a few shovelfuls of chip. Plenty wasps knocking around this. They fancied my butties but I wasnt having any of that!

Before and after of 2 limes and and a maple we re-reduced and lifted.

Big dead grandiose today, striped it to about 70', put a winch line about 40' then felled it. Total 113".

Last pick is the 088 with 30" bar and 560 with20" bar for scale.

Felled high as a horse jump builder wanted the bottom with toes on for a jump of sorts.
