WoodED

Recommended Posts

Same here, palleted up two loads of big laburnum pieces for a well known member on here. Paid the transport myself in good faith and never heard from him again. Chased him up for it and got zip.
Got past feeling angry about it, kinda feel sorry for people who live their lives like that.

Who was it?

I think that’s exactly the view these guys have that it’s just only wood but when you spend the time cutting and stacking it for yourself then someone thinks they can just take it without any thought does grind especially when you have knocked a few £££’s off the job for a good will gesture because it’s decent wood burning and you will make a some extra money it really does make you angry for a while...but I don’t let it get to me as line you say end of the day it’s only wood and I feel sorry for assholes who do that sort of thing without any thought and thinking that asking without just taking Gives them the right to take the lot just because they did ask.

I think on here those people have been referred to as log gobblins, I call them log rustlers as they know exactly what they are doing is robbing you. They never get offered anything again and in the long run its them that lose out, 'cos good guys will always be good guys and pricks are always going to be pricks ! On a more positive note you've still got your new dog to brighten the day !!

PM sent. I’m not going to shame him in public, he knows who he is...

But we don't!

I hate answered questions, they niggle away at the back of my mind for the rest of the day..

Been working since 3.30 this morning, pretty much all caught, so now I'm bored and just stirring the pot to amuse myself.

Yes ref knobheads will always be knobheads,it’s kinder like the people who never offer you a cup of tea all day,it’s not that they don’t want to it’s just the way they have been brought up and to them it’s the norm not to offer you a drink, just the way some people are, wouldn’t do for us to all be the same, and yeas your spot on I have a new pup to soften the blow if losing some logs.??
