Cool , looks a good day out Ian.

It would be interesting to see how they get ridiculous strength out of the tiny accessory krabs ! Think they are one of my favourite inventions at the moment for clipping on working SRT accessories.

 

 

Funny you should say that. I asked a similar question.

 

Basically they age the aluminium as it gets stronger with age. A cool process but I wasn't allowed to photograph some bits and bobs.

 

I can only describe it as they were in a pressure cooker looking machine.

Just made a new towing eye clevice for the back of the Heizohack after breaking the original one on friday... Turned out ok, luckily I got the local engineers to punch the holes and bend the back plate so all I had to do was weld it up..
