Had this call out to do today, bonfire on the hottest day of the year!

No vehicle access, fairly busy beach in East Portlemouth, Devon.

Just sheared off at the base thursday afternoon, no wind, narrowly missing a couple on the beach.

Burnt some of the brash today, still thinking about how to get the rest on the ground safely?!

Had a knackered Pine to dismantle today. Ideally the boss wanted to get an 80t crane but the outriggers would have meant a road closure and diversion. Heavily decayed at base and about half way up with a full crown above. Close to property and live cables and utilities. The boss decided to dismantle it by hand, no rigging and cut and chucked the lot. We had had a heavy three days in Frederikstad pruning a lot of large mature Limes. 36 hours work in three days so the boss did this one to give us a break. Timber being picked up tomorrow.

Some pics of the pruning work in Frederickstad. An old town surrounded by a moat. I think it was 17 trees pruned and one fell. Deadwooding, lift and cut back from buildings.

Surely that tree in the top picture is preparing to run away.?
