Some of you may remember my German pointer Rudi had to be put to sleep just after Christmas.

He is sorely missed and 2 weeks ago we decided we were ready for another dog.

We found a local breeder, had 2 meetings and they were happy to sell us a lovely bitch pup.

We were going tomorrow 9am to collect her, my 2 boys have been counting the minutes all week and the basket, dishes , leed , brush are sitting I the living room.

We get an email an hour ago and they have decided to keep the pup:thumbdown:

Words can't describe my anger and disappointment. My wife is very upset and telling the kids was brutal. I let the folk know this and left it at that.

So if anyone knows of an honourable breeder of German short haired pointers that may have a litter available, please let me know. We would like a bitch preferably liver in colour

Thanks guys:001_smile:

Gutted for you Stevie, hope your boys aren't too upset.

I was going to suggest Shooting Times, most gundogs are healthy stock, but I totally understand your concerns. Be nice to find a litter more local to you.

The pup would have an outside chance of understanding your commands as well.:001_smile:

Good luck with it mate.
