Lets not start the Brit/Yank conversation again... Looks to me like they got the job done without breaking anything, even rigging out some nice big leads. Get the job done and go home in one piece. Peace.

 

Dont forget, WE DONT HAVE TO WEAR PPPE HERE! Anyway, that method he used was just belaying, happens in rock climbing all the time. He managed to get his rop up somehow :D

 

That was pretty much my thinking too. It wasn't very slick and I cringed a few times but on the whole it looked like it was coming down fairly qucik and without drama.

 

If anything the guy on the ground looked like he might have been trying to play for the camera a bit.

 

I agree with this. This isn't really the place to start commenting on factors that apply to us but not to them. As Ben and Chris have put, they got the job done and thats that. To call them a Cowboy Outfit is a bit on the harsh side IMO:001_smile:

No great shakes just seam old school to me, i know when i have worked in the US the only PPE that is set in stone is eye protection and nothing else!

What i do want to know is who is going to clear and pick through that massive brush pile!! Happy days reminds me of 25years ago :laugh1:
