Why am I looking at Arbtalk? have 13 loads of logs to deliver on my own, my delivery help has dissapeared off to France for 5 weeks working on 'Demontage' (taking tents down on campsite) and I am not feeling at all motivated! Best be off and get on with it...

We like UK arbs here in NZ. They are desperate for work, bring a heap of shiny toys and flash qualifications (half of either are useless)

Once you property introduce them to big trees, big saws, warm weather and steep ground and break them out of a nanny state mindset, they do okay.

They are generally great in a big broadleaf, but like a seal pup in big pines, macs and gums.

The very mention of big macs gives me the jitters, and I don't mean burgers:001_smile:

Sorry guys, I think I accidently posted this on wrong thread!

Just to comment on thread:

If you put your saw in your boots as often as my work colleage does you would definately not want to work without a pair, also I have seen what a saw can do to human flesh, so would not consider working without a pair.

Only problem i found with kiwis is that they have very thin skin so as soon as it gets to Autumn its Game over until summer...they grind to a halt or flee the country:D...and they use very sticky throwbags..aleays getting stuck..saw three harrison rockets in a tree once..they must be the stickiest...
