Same up here, touch of frost first thing but once the sun came up it was t-shirt and vents open all day, lovely.

Started wet, then the sun came out and my goodness was it humid!

 

A momentous occasion this evening as the kitchen window was opened for the first time this year. Bloody lovely.

Spring has finally arrived in South wales.  Loads of insects flying around today - way more than yesterday.

An astoundingly sunny hot hot hot afternoon here today.

When I stepped outside this morning at 06:00 it smelt like Spain(from 40 year old memories) I could figure it was the warm hard surfacing. It still smelt the same when I went out after breakfast.

Reached 17 degrees here yesterday . Had shorts on unloading and stacking logs . Says max 15 degrees for to day .

Misty start though? I stayed at the inlaws last night over near Southampton, came back to Midhurst via the 272. Was an OK ride till Langrish, the sun was starting to peep through and then I hit a wall of fog which didn't lift till, I was back at the yard. Spoilt the rest of the ride, I couldn't see a thing through the outside of my helmet fogging up and it was cold!

Here on the coast in Blyth I would describe it as "wet and meh". Cloudy, raining on and off and a max of 14º.

 

In Geordie land that translates to somewhere between shorts are essential and lets have a barbeque. It is not quite at the level where the pub is more busy outside than it is inside.
