Looks like tomorrow it's going to be hot and wet.

That's an opening, (intended), for a joke if ever I saw one.......

Epic little thunderstorm here this morning in SE Sweden, that was completely missed by the weather forecasting services.

It was preceded by a sudden increase in wind speed, with violent gusting. The thunder and lightning only lasted about 30 minutes or so, but 12mm of rain fell.

My inlaws arrived late last night from Northampton, so I have joked that they're just 'rain tourists' here to remind themselves what it looks, sounds, feels and smells like, and to see some grass that's actually green! 😁

‘Kin mental here today.

Oslo area of Norway.  28c all day and then a swim in the fjord.  The forecast changed and a wall of wind and rain came across the fjord.  When it hit us it was a bit mental.  Bits of tree flying through the air and I got soaked trying to get things in from the decking and balcony.

first since April.

come on rain!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get too excited; it's stopped already but was indeed mighty welcome for the hour it lasted.  Good rain too, not mere falling mist

Epic thunderstorm here yesterday on the way home from work. You could see it coming in, almost from two directions. The kind of rain followed that reduces your driving to an absolute crawl, lightning flashes every 20 seconds. Awesome.

This was this evenings sunset (not my photo, borrowed from the village Facebook page) after a relatively cool 24c day. The week in prospect is hot, averaging 26-27c every day.

We've had a run of really wonderful weather. Very cold mornings (down to 2-3c) with a thick fog coming off the lakes. By 08:00 to 09:00 it burns off and it's stunning for the rest of the day.
