Beautiful sunshine here(worcestershire),had wind and lashing rain from about 3 until 8 this morning

I canceled todays climbing, high winds and rain.

Rain blew over by 10:30 but the winds remain high 

 Very much a gamble trusting the French weather service.

I'll go hedge cutting this arvo instead.

Epic rain here today, both on site and at home. Rain gauge at the bottom of the lane has recorded 55mm. 

 

One of the torrential showers today coincided with a brief stint out of the cab chucking trees at the harvester. A complete change of clothing was needed at lunchtime

Bit like that up here at the moment, heavy torrential rain monday morning then came out in the aft, got caught in one shower and that was it totally piss wet through, my 2 Labs cleared off and where sheltering under the back of the truck when i got back to it, Not as heavy today but been at it all day, spent 3hrs in a Beech n Oak woodland at probably the worst part of the day and i dont hold much hope for my coat being dried out for morning,,

Heavy rain Tues night , thunder lightening . Woke up this morning to clear blue sky and sun coming up .Bit of a chill  to start with .

That storm was close wasn't it! Bit disappointed it didn't last longer. Lovely with the fire on.

Forecast for weekend in Cumbria is grim tho.

There's been the odd day with a bit of sun this week but a crap load of rain overall.

It is now absolutely slashing is down, battering the windows.
