Its belting down at the moment. Been on and off all day and the river is hovering around flood alert/warning levels. Speaking to a friend of mine who works for the EA the rivers are reacting fast to what ever rain we get. Met office forecast more heavy rain to come overnight.

melted pretty well all day but snowing very heavy again now .

Not happy loseing money all the time .

Been snowing all day and drifting too, amber snow warning through til 9 in the morning and then back to yellow snow warning and looks like staying til at least tuesday had to ababndon van half way up the hill and walk home again

Very heavy snow and severe drifting. 5ft drifts in our lane and approach road. Dug it out this morning about 7am then drifted back over. Dug it back out again around 2pm and now badly snowed in again. The wind is wild up here on top of the hill. Just had a massive lightning strike somewhere close by, lite the whole surrounding fields up. Might have been the neighbouring radio masts or wind turbines across the hill, I,ll see in the morning.

 

I,ll get the tractor loader out again tomorrow morning and go again. Funniest part of the day was clearing the road ahead of the council snow plough and then watching it get stuck trying to follow me up the hill.
