Finally found time to strip down the 084 to fix a no oiling problem.

Is this the part that you were talking about Steve?

Second time round and it seems to be holding.

The main thing is to thoroughly degrease the broken walls so the epoxy bonds well. JB is good stuff!

That's a well used 200.

Will a new chain catcher still fit over the top of that repair? ;)

It fits to me , i'm a bit worn out as well. I'm hoping that a chain catcher will fit. If not it won't be used by anyone , except myself.

Anyone know of a fix for this or is it a new tank

 

 

I fixed a crack in my tank with araldite.

Seems to be holding pretty well.

I've fixed a broken fuel tank seam before with araldite and glass fibre strips, held for years, never mended a hole but it could work, worth a try!
