Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years time, I think I'll have to be doing something different to this. I still enjoy a lot of the actual work, but the costs are going up each year, while the amount I can charge, and the amount of work around, seems to be flat. It doesn't seem sustainable.

I'm trying to teach myself furniture making at the moment..although it's sometimes hard to find the time, as anything that pays money has to come first. Whether it'll become anything more than a hobby, time will tell. Ideally, I'd be able to get skilled enough to get some paid experience under my belt, then look for work in NZ - I know they're short of joiners and cabinet makers. That might be a big ask to do that in under 10 years - I wish I'd have thought of it 10 years ago!

In ten years I'll be 54 and will have one more year in tree surgery to do, will retire from tree surgery then, if not a bit before, will be looking into another business untill then.

Might buy a shop next door to yours and pee off from this crap hole, had my fill of disrepectful selfish pratts over here :bored:

Just watched a car full of ethnic persuasions come through my wood, opened and left open both gates and threw two coke cans out of the window on their way through. I was red with rage and had to count to 6 thousand to calm down, otherwise I'd of done something stupid.

After a couple of hours of going and repeatedly shutting gates behind so called rural friendly people I finally flipped and went and give a group of people a right blasting, totally lost it, red mist, everything, one of them enraged me even more when he told me I'd no need to swear.

The air was blue for at least a minute :mad1: had a belly full of people over here

Haha I flipped out today and gave a local resident a damn good ear full, I was told the same thing no need to swear lol, my point came home loud and clear I doubt I'll be having probs with them again....:001_smile:

Seems these days all people want to do is walk all over you, not this kiddy...:001_tt1:
