whereabouts in sheff is it gerbutt?

I can help you with whatever you decide to do on Friday?

Personally I`d try a "a-la Fred Dibnah style" and make a fire around the root upheave then retire at no risk leaving the shed and greenhouse to fate whilst munching on tea and scones as the weather gonna be ok friday lol :D

Hmmm tea and scones (fastest cake in the world, one minute their there and the next minute their scone...........) Not really much to do for two people there but will keep you in mind if anything else pops up. I don't go looking for my own jobs normally, like working for other people, this one just came to me because it's my accountant.

I have a cunning plan for this one now so I think all will be good:thumbup:

looks like an intresting one. alright to climb id say although assuming your not gonna rig off it, it could prove tricky to reliably hand throw all the stuff away from the green house etc, just thinking of the climbing/ anchor position( mabey fine tho).

also who pays for any thing broken??!! hopefully not you out of the £150!

good luck with it anyhow

Stupid as it sounds you haven't under priced if thats the price you can do it for and make what you want to out of it, thats how you should quote.

To a point you are correct, but not with these sorts of figures....that is simply devaluing the industry.:001_smile:

no offense tommer9, but if he is gonna do the job and take responsibility, is the price not up to him? sometimes the kids need new shoes etc. i agree with not devaluing what we do but there are also regionall considerations, its tough up north they tell me...

yeah and it's not like I'm up against anyone else and under-cutting them loads, no one else is being asked.........unless I don't do it and then he'll have to pay the real price. At this moment in time whilst I'm still on the big learning curve I'd much rather be out working for and learning from someone else everyday than doing jobs by myself.
