a bit of a wet day !!!!

I left the house in Wells at 7 am and it was hoofing it down with rain it was really giving it large .I loaded all my saws and kit in getting drenched thinking wow this is going to be fun climbing in this but the work must go on rain hail or snow .

 

Well by the time I got to Chard it was brillant sunshine and more sunshine all day in fact not a drop fell on me my only the sun . Wow I had a great day at work today O how I love my job .

 

it was fun all the way to the top . really nice customer too ,tea and more tea and then she gave me fresh made chicken sandwitches for lunch with a choice of meats .

 

Lets hope its sunning in chard for me tom as going back for another round tom

O happy days are here again .

It rained pretty hard today but they still didn't let us finish early at college!

worked out in the wind and rain with our new awesome waterproofs:thumbup:, it was only craning dumpy bags though, then manned up and went and climbed in the afternoon for about 3 hours, once the chillblains kicked in and my hands went that mad red way things were ok, went for a widdle with my harness on , never easy and the spilage was actually quite nice on my frozen handies:blushing:

It was hammering down and blowing a hooley first thing this morning but it soon cleared and turned into a cracking day. Been out beating all day but spotting severeal nackered trees for the estate woodmen to drop. Had a few douglass firs blown over and a mature ash fall over where we park our cars when we meet up in the morning.

Connie bashing straight through til 2.00 then called it a day just in time.Truck still full of chip,coudn't bring myself to fork it out when i got back home.

I didn't get rained off - just spent all day in and/or waiting for AA vans - been relayed by them from Kendal to a motorway services just south of there, then from there to another on the M62 and then finally from there home - 9 hours after originally breaking down
