New arrival last Saturday.

 

 

Connie seems to have accepted Teaghan as a new member of our family.

Our 2 latest arrivals, all the way from Castleblaney.

Both bitches (to be spayed when big enough)

Hidi and Tootsie (I tried Hidi and Ho, but was shot down)

Mother was a Daschund, the father, I can only surmise, was a local freelance "stud", of decidedly mixed parentage. (despite the Mrs being assured it was another Daschund), traces of Collie, Bernese mountain dog plus the Spaniel ears.

Nothing like a bit of hybrid Vigour.

10 weeks old (apparently) going for their microchipping and "jags"

next photo is Hugo about 90+% black Lab with Rottwiler feet and tail (as was), an absolute big "dote" of a house hound.

third is Hugh and Pongo.

4th is Pongo, a Jack Russel that absolutly does not stray, WOW! (per our previous JR experiences)

Hugo and Pongo both rescue dogs from the local pound.

Hugo took a full 12month to come round from his previous treatment/experiences (chain literally grown into his neck)

How old's the rottie?

Tsk Tsk.

He is not a Rottie, well except for the feet, and the tail as was.

From behavouir traits about 90% black Lab, Plus a very Lab head and other characteristics.

Helps me and the Mrs. get dressed in the morning by bring us discarded items of clothing.

He also appears to be convinced I should be wearing the wifes knickers.

Guessing between 3 and 4?

A slight independent streak, but apparently reasonably intelligent & biddable, very good with other strange dogs too.

Also impeccable with livestock, cattle or sheep might as well be made of concrete, even totally ignored a stupid ewe that bolted across the rodding in front of us.

My favourite.

PS

His coat does not get groomed, regular dips in peaty sheaughs and romps through the heather, an an odd wee kip in our bed.

I was trying to be diplomatic:001_rolleyes: There's rottie in there, with the brown markings above the eyes and across the chest, as well as the legs. He's a handsome creature.

 

As you may have guessed, rotties are a favourite of mine.

She was nearly 15.

Could tell you 101 stories about her.

Strange to think I had her over a third of my life.
