My Staffy used to look up at them and watch, the bangs never bothered him one bit, he’d also sit out in thunder and lightening storms..... was very young and daft though!

Aggie isnt really bothered by fireworks as such but will kinda spook at certain sounds/pitches.

They all have their own traits, some stranger than others eh, funny to watch at times, but also not if you can see its bothering them.

I've had Alsatians before, love them, totally different to Malinois, first one was my Army guard dog. Second one, still in Army but my own dog.I found some old photos, I weighed less than the dog then plus I had hair and teeth. Less than 10 stone, a bit bigger now. 1969 in Omagh Northern Ireland and 1974 Bovington.

Mum's Alsatian when she was probably two or three. I cut myself out of the shot because I'm not as handsome as you.

Lovely looking dog mate.

Isn't she just. Sadly in less fine fettle these days. Back operation last year after some discs disintegrated (check your pet insurance small print...). Can still walk three miles OK, probably four at a push. Uses the back two as one. Useless on a polished floor.

Cracking dog, although showing signs of her age now. I was at AHHP's for lunch on Sunday, very nice it was too.

The reason he's cut himself out of that picture is because he's a scruffy hippy, probably why me and him get on.

Thanks again for rescuing me Sunday morning, Alex.
