It's just taken a letter of mine nine days to travel about twenty miles with a second class stamp. Feels slow but I don't post stuff often. Anyone else noticed delays? Have a lot of people just clogged the post up with postal votes or is this par for the course now (broken Britain etc)?

We get a delivery every 3rd day. It used to be daily.
Not had any issues with sending stuff from here to Pompey or Somerset (family)

Postman always complaining about being overworked and underpaid. Happy to take the free shares and bunce when they were privatised though.

I'd be a bit concerned about that. Nudge nudge, wink wink.

Postie start times in the mornings have been put back a few hours round here, apparently Royal Mail have cancelled 2 flights so they have to wait for the lorries to come in now. (might not be a bad thing for the environment though)

They are trying to cut back on plane use and use lorries and rail more.
