Lightweight summer chainsaw strides

Recommended Posts

A forestry colleague who isn't Internet savvy has asked if I'll help him order a pair of decent light type A's and I suggested that as with a few of the other blokes, maybe Breath flex. I know opinions differ and some say they are rubbish but I haven't actually tried anything airer for summer use-problem may be that he's built like a prop forward and has already tried pfanner gladiator, too tight on the legs apparently. Which are roomier cut-wise the standard or Pro version, or can anyone suggest  anything equally light, cheers

Is he tall? If not then maybe look at some Stihl trousers, I had some before and they were roomy but not long enough for me. The Stihls are I think quite good for the money, breathflex tend to rip if you stare at them too hard but breathflex pro much better made.

He could try a set of the Arbortec deep forest. They are a bit more robust than the b/flex pro. Also have a look at the Stihl  X-Light they feel very light and good value for money

I found the Solidur Infinity Trousers to be excellent. Very hard wearing, absolutely massive leg vents on the back, and I think you can get them in different leg lengths too.

I got mine from Chris Forestry 👍🏼
