I wonder if his brothers cell mates are now feeling sorry for him on account of being a brother to a low life liar with no morals, scruples or backbone!?!

I truly feel for his ex wife and so forth for having anything to do with him! But again, is this truly newsworthy?

A nonce that was getting dirty with a boy just after he’s legal? Clearly groomed. That’s newsworthy, or should be newsworthy regardless of his status. Couple that with his standing and almost daily appearance on TV makes it justifiably newsworthy.

He should be sown into a bag with his brother and thrown in the River.

Quite. I can’t believe the “men” who have opinions about this shit.

You don't understand why it's newsworthy that a paedophile has be found out and a huge corporation could've been complicit?

Yeah, probably best to just turn a blind eye.

Well, I agree. But it may become newsworthy. It has been suggested on the news this morning that he first met the 18 year old when that individual was only 15. If they began a sexual relationship at that point, Schofield is a paedophile, the same as his brother. And if it turns out that, as some have suggested, that he has been abusing his position to prey on young men throughout his tV career and ITV bosses and colleagues knew about this behaviour, then we do have a story. It's Jimmy Saville all over again.

What an odious little creep he is.

I wonder what sort of early years these brothers had to make them turn out the way they both did?

Bring back hanging for fathers who abuse their children.

Or anyone's children.

Hadn't noticed any of that. I heard daytime TV celebrity and my mind shut off fairly instantly.

The other side of that Alex is most folk my age grew up with watching him every day on children’s tv and was as much a part of our childhoods as watching saville, so I spose is why some of us have Interest in watching the nonces downfall.. I’ve never watched breakfast tv since the big breakfast ended.

What gets me is that people fawn over these creeps as if they're god's gift and often those in a position to do something don't presumably because of ratings/money. Even after Saville, Harris, Glitter etc the same sort of story repeats. Wonder how many other 'stars' are lurking out there doing the same thinking they've got away with it?
