Not long ago I was on that website looking at metal cans, after the discussion about how much leaks through the material of plastic cans, didn't see the screw top so they must be pretty new.

I'd ring them up or email, as in the description it says

"Extra wide breather valve for a fast, smooth pour"

Yes, I will take it up with them.  I thought the Arbtalk community might come up trumps, as it so often does!

I used to get bulk deliveries, but I have enquired in recent times and it is actually more expensive that way now.

Not here it isn't and for a first in my life I stocked up before the current price rises kicked in. Would be more than £300 dearer today for me.

re your jerry can. I have the old style with a vented clip on spout. No glugging and empties within 2 minutes easy. Only downside is if you fill the jerry can full right up you might get a splash from the spout first off.

Granted price break starts around 1000 litres, last email I got last week was saying 79p plus 5% on farmdeals.

That's for red.

White has historically always been the same or a penny more than the pumps round me- but worth it for the convenience factor. Since COVID however, it's been considerably cheaper, which just shows how the garages round here are milking it.

What’s covid got to do with the price of fish?

Not cheap 10lt is about £38 + and 20lt is £43 I think

Not cheap but are they good?

I would rather spend on decent kit than buy a crap one for half the price that doesn’t pour any sense and leaks after a couple of months, if you do that on a £20 Jerry can from fleabay they suddenly seem expensive and yours looks cheap all of a sudden 👍

As said the people that have bought them have no complaints. We've been selling them a few years now. We use them to get fuel for the workshop which then gets decanted to 5lt cans and they work perfectly 👍

20l plastic diesel can with a separate breather valve, and a little pouring spout.

Costs about £45 or whatever but you get some free chain oil :w00t:
