I don't know where you got the police involved?

All information provided is that the council have announced they want him to not live wherever he lives. Nowhere in the previous conversation is there any mention of anything illegal, just the council's intention. I've some experience with local governments doing whatever the flying fish they feel like, presuming the're in the right is on par with little red riding hood believing  a wolf in drag was her own grandmother....

Just my opinion.

My bad. The council. Same same but different, but still the same. They’re not moving him

on for living there legally are they?

In that transgender madhouse Scotland that wolf can indeed identify as a grandmother

The Slums in India are farked. The Favelas in Brazil are fecked. 90% of Africa is farked. In fact any place where there is no regulation in place is farked. Would you say Scandinavia is farked? They have more stringent laws and regulations in place than us and it’s a beautiful clean place. Unless you go to the areas where the immigrants congregate and that’s fecked, just like where they come from.

Wise up, eh?

Your country is headed for the sewer (not saying mine isn't as well) and a large part of the reason for that is people - like yourself - who have a "regulation" mindset. I realize you think it's all very civilized to have all these rules etc, but if you expand out your view things might look different. The rules of civilization no longer serve you, but you're still bound by them, the internal inhibition of common sense is too strong. The man was living lawfully on the land. He had permission from the landowner. A dog walker (guessing) with a "rules" based mindset grassed him up. He was not, I'm quite sure, making shit of the land, like some folks.

You're all living under a parasitic puppet regime, elected or no. One of your fellow countrymen bucks the system, gets reported, gets hassled, and you effectively take pleasure in it, or so it sounds.

Crabs pulling each other back into the bucket... It's just bloody sad to see. And it's going to be your downfall, as a nation.

Maybe you should wise up. I hope you all do, for your sakes.

I'm more redneck than hippie, temperamentally speaking.

You're insulated from the insanity of the nanny state gone mad, for the time being. Good job, foot in two countries etc. Sooner or later it will come to your door though, when you're peaceably doing your "thing" and some see you next Tuesday rats you out for breaking a rule. Nanny will come for us all.

Well I’m with you on that one. 😁

You might think Im all for regulations and rules but for the most part I find them stifling and a hindrance. But without them we’d end up like the countries I mentioned earlier.

Based on your ideals is there a country in the world you feel upholds them? If so which is it?

While I feel sorry for your predicament, I struggle with the concept that you are doing nothing illegal yet the premises are not registered for any type of residential accommodation, therefore it is illegal!

If you get a live aboard boat (or any boat for that matter), it will have to be registered and a stipend paid surely? Just because you pay someone else's tax doesn't preclude on paying yours?

I do find certain LA rules a little odd too. I have a footpath on 2 sides of my home and any alterations/replacements to that boundary may require full planning consent. If the fence is over a certain height (maybe 3'6"), I'm okay, but I've a 6' fence to my garden and cannot change a post without full consent, build method and drawings submitted etc!

I can't really argue with any of that, but I think the analogy of the crabs and bucket is very good and applies to most of humanity...  not just the Scots,[ although history shows them to be turncoats and small minded grassers] but I'm surely surrounded by thick tw$ts in everyday life ... by feck they don't half reap wot they sow.. and I for one am past caring, cheers.
