Thats from a spot price when it was briefly very high due to it being very cold on a still evening of high demand. It was doing the rounds on Twitter but not a reflection of the average just what a supplier had to pay for a short period

There are plenty of members on AT from across the globe, so what are you paying atm for gas and electricity?

UK is capped at the following

Gas 10.33p per kwh

Electricity 34.04p per kwh.

36.83 for electric no gas, been waiting for 2 weeks for them to change my meter as I'm not on economy 7 any more

I was on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building today on the observation deck, and in the open air there are about 240 halogen heaters on full blast! I guess the  USA still gets cheap electricity then!  Quite why they feel people need to be warmed when outdoors and high up I can’t quite fathom.F2C100B5-4A8C-4567-920C-06FD281E99DE.thumb.jpeg.2952b63face27ed362dc19b0906a9c3f.jpeg
