In the same family but the lesser nasty " Cow parsley/parsnip " It looks to me .

Just watch, the sap has the potential to burn your skin. Think it doesn't affect everyone but you can become sensitive to it.

 

I have used a strimmer since the age of 17, it never used to bother me, but it does now.

Long sleeves, buttoned right up to the neck, gloves, and full face polycarb visor, even if you can't see any hogweed type plants it can often be lurking in the grass.

Especially if strimming in sunny weather. A lot of the Umbelliferae, (Carrot family), can cause photosensitive reactions, the sap on the skin in sunlight causing blisters.

I've got the scars from cutting this stuff. It looked like I'd glued some primer bubbles to my arms, wasn't pleasant to live with. I didn't even know it was there. I'm the same cover up best I can
