I had 2 working cockers . One called Holly and , yes , you guessed it the other was Ivy .

Goats love ivy. My pal who I used to help out a lot, with tree stuff, has pet goats. Any time a bit of ivy was involved, we had to save it and bring it home for his goats, in the trailer, or tied on the back of his pickup.

Small quantities of ivy is a good tonic for sick sheep aswell

Also an old boy by us swore by giving beer to a ewe that had gone down,half a pint and usually they would get up and eat and get going again,it was something to do with the yeast he reckoned
