Ok now the question is what visor's are people finding to clip onto these as my local dealer seems confused as hell about this...
Apparently you can't order a whole visor assembly as a spare part.
We mostly use kesk or petzle helmets with MSA defenders at the moment so the husky style visor's which won't work with these.

Are they 3M then? Saw in the Stihl blurb they can fit to other 3M compatible helmets, and seems you can buy a visor for those from other safety suppliers (not bought anything from these people myself)

Thanks Dan, yeah that looks like it's going to fit
Just seems a little stupid by Stihl that they produce a really good product that unless you buy a complete Stihl helmet and throw away the ears that come with it you can't setup without going after market.

Or I guess they make it easy for you to go with a Stihl helmet and more difficult to go with someone else's?

It is a bit crazy though, there are so many Sordin compatible helmets in use already that must represent a good share of available people to sell to.

Just set all our new ones up.
Anybody else find they can hear themselves talking really clearly through the speaker's?

That can happen but when on site and not all close together that doesn't seem to happen

Been using ours for a few months and couldn't go back to the old way when on rigging or MEWP jobs. Really good.

I use mine to listen to music when stump grinding but its too quiet. Also the ear defenders aren't as good at blocking the noise from the chipper.
