What's your first thought when you see this Blue Atlas Cedar?

From past experience with blue cedar. Depending on how much growth is on the end of that branch could cause failure, but that close to the main stem, may not be an issue. Hard to tell from that photo.

Have seen many lateral branches fail with too much weight on them with cedars. Though use of cobra or cable has certainly seemed to lessen that problem.

But others might have more experience on the subject. That’s my two pennies worth.

More context needed really - but over extending branches are a noticable problem, thankfully a thin or tip prune can make a lot of difference. K
