To be honest if I lamped someone for not coming in and letting me down I’d be worse then them, not only that I wouldn’t want the lawsuit. Don’t bother with them again and tell them bluntly why you won’t get them in again.

I think M has got three options:

1, do nothing.

2, report it to the police... if B thinks the old bill would do anything about M working while he's claiming benefits he is kidding himself- they would only be interested in the assault.

3, M gets his mates together and goes round to give B the hiding of his life.

Not my style Les, oh, I forgot the demanding money with menaces, that along with the assault would pretty much guarantee a custodial sentence.

Get them to meet you at a job that is a good drive away. When he turns up and your not there, Text him to say that your running late due to getting a technical issue sorted out and leave him waiting. Then when he rumbles it just say, well that's what you did to me... By the way, you're not needed any more.

In short, sink to their level. No, thanks.

No shows from youngsters has always happened, with some more than others.
We’ve all had it and is just something you have to take in your stride, employing another young worker or 2 to give a slightly bigger crew ( and adjust your quoting to include them)has worked for me.
Then when Sebastians mum calls you at 6:30am to say she can’t get him out of his bedroom ,you are able to shrug your shoulders with no drama, and get on with the serious business of making money.
